Windows Forms new features

• Microsoft Office 2007 File Formats - Infragistics will offer support to allow exporting directly to the latest file format for Excel (.xlsx) which enables you to take advantage of Excel’s new 1 million row capacity and leverage this file format’s human-readable, interoperable XML vocabulary.
• WinCalcManager to Excel Formula Integration - Infragistics WinCalcManager and Excel Integration scenario just got more powerful.  Now Infragistics has the ability to translate formulas from WinCalcManager to Excel automatically.  Essentially, this offers more robust interoperability between the Infragistics controls and the Excel product.
• De-Serialization of Excel Formula Values - This enables the Infragistics.Excel libraries to pull data from Excel and translate the formulas as a formula value instead of a text string.  This enables developers an easy way to efficiently pull data from Excel into their application.
• Additional WinCalcManager Formulas - Enhancing the productivity of the developer, Infragistics has released a large number of new formulas that have been added to the WinCalcManager.  This enables more complicated mathematics to be handled automatically by the Infragistics math libraries and negates the need for lengthy custom code.

• DataGrid Enhancements - The latest xamDataGrid release introduces end-user column customization and a persistence mechanism to save that customization giving end-users a custom experience with the grid.
• Outlook Navigation Bar - The Outlook Navigation Bar is a pivotal part of user-interfaces today.  After its introduction into Microsoft Outlook it has become a staple for modern business applications.  The latest version of NetAdvantage enables developers to quickly and easily add this common user-interface paradigm to their applications.
• Printing Support - A new printing capability has been added to the NetAdvantage WPF controls.  This capability makes it easy to print the popular xamDataGrid with only a couple lines of code.  At the same time, the printing support is flexible enough to allow developers to create custom styled printed documents.
• Calendar and Calendar Dropdown - The xamCalendar and xamCalendarDropDown are brand new controls that bring the Vista-experience to navigating through dates.  The dropdown can easily be embedded into the xamDataGrid to enable a new level of interaction with choosing dates.
• Tab Control - Extending the control suite with a robust tab control, the new xamTab control enables the developer to quickly have access to close buttons and scrolling tabs which surpass the productivity of the tab control included in Microsoft’s Windows Presentation Foundation System.Windows.Controls namespace.

  • CardView Printing – CardView is a display mechanism in the WinGrid that enables developers to provide an alternate view of data, similar to that of the Microsoft Office business cards view.   • Rotated Column Headers – Now you can create new column arrangements by rotating the column header.
