Add-in Express for Microsoft .net and Office provides developers with components to integrate their applied code with all applications from the Microsoft Office family including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, MapPoint, FrontPage, InfoPath, Project and Publisher. Using Add-in Express visual designers, wizards, modules and components you can create version-neutral, secure, isolated, deployable and automatically updatable Office extensions with your own toolbars, menus, ribbons, form regions, task panes and keyboard shortcuts in minutes. All available Office versions, from 2000 to 2007, and Office suites, from Student to Enterprise, are supported transparently. What's new in version 2008?

Add-in Express 2008 provides an enhanced version of the extensibility kernel as well as some new, really unique features:

• Advanced Outlook Forms and Views Regions. Add-in Express Advanced Regions allow customizing Outlook views and forms by embedding custom .NET forms and using any built-in or third-party controls. As a result, you get full-featured Outlook plug-ins that work on all Outlook versions, across 2000 through 2007.
• Advanced Excel Task Panes. Excel task panes based on Add-in Express can contain one or several forms produced by one or several Excel add-ins, and work on all Excel versions, from Excel 2000 to Excel 2007. 
• Full support for Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5 and WPF controls.
• Full support of ClickOnce prerequisites and the Excel Worksheet API (XLL).
• Ability to include in your Office add-ins solutions the modules of the two new Add-in Express products - Add-in Express for Outlook Express and Add-in Express for Internet Explorer. So, in the framework of one project and, of course, in one assembly you can get one or several Office add-ins, one Outlook Express plug-in and one Internet Explorer add-on with a common code base.
