Add barcode reading to your applications. Barcode Reader Toolkit is an easy to use software development component for barcode recognition from images on Microsoft Windows. The toolkit accepts most common barcode symbologies. It is designed for rapid development. Developers are not required to have extensive knowledge about imaging technology or barcode specification, nor do they need extra imaging toolkits. Sample projects source code in Visual C#, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Delphi is provided.

Read barcodes from memory DIB (Device Independent Bitmap) or image files. The toolkit can directly load image files without the need for any additional image file read/write component. Supported image formats include:

Single page TIFF
Multi page TIFF
JPEG
BMP
GIF
PNG
WMF

The image can be in any color mode (Black & White, Gray, Color), no binarization is required.

Features:

Accept multiple barcodes in one page. Maximum number can reach as high as 999.
Search barcode in omni direction, Left to right, Right to left, Top to bottom, Bottom to Top, or Oblique.
Return information includes number of barcode, barcode string, barcode type, barcode direction, barcode boundary rectangle.
Adjustable toolkit options enable user to optimize reading procedure which will improve the performance in return.
Few binary redistributables for making your application smaller
