Report Sharp-Shooter V3.7

• New: Integrated SQL and XML data sources support. The connection string and query text are specified for SQL data source. XML data source support is based on XML file and XPath format query. End users can edit data sources directly in the report designer
• Improved: XPS export is fully integrated in WebViewer. Just place XpsExportFilter on the page and the export option will be automatically available for users

New: Support for smart tags functionality provides access to the .NET ModelKit Suite components’ common properties in a smart tag window, invoked by a mouse pointer.
Improved: Tighter integration of OLAP ModelKit and Chart ModelKit provides the ability to dynamically represent OLAP data as feature-rich charts. No need to adjust components to each other or write sophisticated code. Just place Chart Viewer on the form the DataCubeGrid is located on, a few mouse clicks and your data is transformed into useful and meaningful information.

Report Sharp-Shooter
New: Report Manager editor makes reports design process much easier and faster: a double click on the ReportManager component invokes a special editor that allows editing collections of reports and data sources.
New: XPS (XML Paper Specification) export filter provides the ideal tool for storing, displaying and publishing data from WPF applications. It is intended to display a document in the same way across the machines independently from the software installed. So, now a developer can be sure that an end user will get a document in the way it has been designed and besides, it is not possible to copy or edit data by a user.
New: Support for PDF417 2D barcode that is irreplaceable for the applications where the data must travel with the labeled item. It can store up to 1,800 printable ASCII characters per symbol and can be used for hazardous materials labeling, storing technical specifications and calibration data on electronic instruments.
Improved: Error handling (exception handling) becomes much easier with Report Sharp-Shooter 3.6.

Report Sharp-Shooter and OLAP ModelKit
Improved: Export to PDF is considerably improved. Now your PDF documents become dramatically smaller due to the files compression.

The .Net ModelKit Suite is designed to improve and automate decision-making and control management processes. The package includes Report Sharp-Shooter, OLAP ModelKit, Instrumentation ModelKit and Chart ModelKit. The components included into the suite minimize coding required and provide full design-time customization. The .Net ModelKit Suite is fully compatible with .Net 2.0, written in C# and contains only managed code. The product is runtime royalty free; this means that it is possible to distribute the product within the application without any additional fees.

Report Sharp-Shooter:
Report Sharp-Shooter is a suite of 100% managed components allowing the creation of both bound and unbound reports, with an unlimited number of master-detail relations, groups, columns and crosses. Report generation concept is very easy and suits to both advanced and novice users: to generate a report, template is created and a developer can use one of these three ways to do this:

• Design report template in the Report Designer component
• Create it dynamically using the wizard
• Create it dynamically in a programmatic way

The product allows the creation of Sub-reports, Cross tab reports, Group, Multicolumn reports, Parameterized, Hierarchical, and Side by Side reports, etc.

After the report is generated it can be exported to the following formats: GIF, PNG, JPG, BMP, EMF, PDF, XPS, HTML, CSV, TXT, Excel, XML, Excel, and RTF.

OLAP ModelKit:
OLAP ModelKit pivot table is a kind of an interactive table designed to be used for statistical analysis of multiple data. The product is remarkable for its ability to use any .Net data (ADO.NET, IList, and IListSource).  Along with the advantages of OLAP technology the product provides a wide range of capabilities in pivot table customization and data visualization.
