Integrate enhanced serial communication into a variety of application platforms. SuperCom is a communications component for serial communications such as RS232 and RS422. Provide connectivity with modems, add terminal emulation, and even determine the status of the serial interface via the DataLink module. SuperCom for TCP/IP is able to connect and transmit data over TCP/IP networks. The easy to use SuperCom API handles dialup and data transfer the known way.

All protocols available for the SuperCom API are also available over TCP/IP networks i.e. ZMODEM, YMODEM, KERMIT, XMODEM, ASCII, 3964/R, RK512 and LVS/2. For the use of the 3964/R and/or LSV/2 protocol the SuperCom 3964/R Protocol Engine and/or the LSV/2 Protocol Module is also needed. A client or server application can be build in short time. Complete samples are included in source code.

The use of the SuperCom API enables a move from RS-232 to TCP/IP very quick, in most cases by simply switching the DLL.
