例 1: このソフトウェアを使用する 1 人の開発者がこのソフトウェア製品の唯一のユーザーである場合、職場の自身のデスクトップ、ノート PC、ホーム コンピューターにインストールすることができます。このとき必要な作業は、シングル ライセンスを 1 個購入することだけです。

例 2: 3 人の開発者がいるチームでは、3 台のコンピューターにこのソフトウェアをインストールしたいと考えています。この場合、このソフトウェア製品を使用するには 3 個の個別のライセンスを購入する必要があります。

例 3: 3 人の開発者がいるチームでは、3 台のコンピューターにこのソフトウェアをインストールして、ビルド用の別のサーバー マシンでソフトウェアのビルドを作成したいと考えています。この場合、このソフトウェア製品を使用するには 3 個の個別のライセンスを購入する必要があります。ただし、ビルド マシンでは開発が一切行われず、かつその唯一の目的がソフトウェアの実際のビルドを作成することである場合には、ビルド用のサーバー マシンのために別途ライセンスを購入する必要はありません。ただし、開発者がビルド用のサーバー マシンを使用して開発し、かつ、この開発者が現在ソフトウェア製品に対する有効なライセンスを所有していない場合は、ソフトウェア製品を使用するために追加ライセンスを購入する必要があります。
