I have used ComponentOne components for three years. Their documentation is a little on the sparce side. The DBGrid is a little flakey. Tech support is poor. The license and patch management utility doesn't work reliably. When upgrading to a newer version of the DBGrid I had to delete all the old controls and start from scratch. The grid functionality is far inferior to most of its competitors.
