It beats me why True DBGrid seems to be the goto product for grids. Our experience was first with the VB version which was selected for reasons surpassing understanding by a previous developer. True DBGrid is known for their screwy ways of doing things, buggy behavior, workarounds, and generally difficult implementations and maintenance. This control has easily been the most expensive control we own in terms of getting it to run correctly. I downloaded the version for C# and it's the same story. One of the grid's first actions was to fail to update correctly. It has some nice features and the staff is helpful, but honestly I don't have the time, patience or money to get onboard with ComponentOne again.
