Universal data access components for Delphi and Free Pascal. AnyDAC is a set of components for CodeGear Delphi and the open source Free Pascal Compiler that provides high-speed native data access to a variety of back-end database engines, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 and others. Optimized for direct access to the respective database systems, AnyDAC can avoid unnecessary layers such as ADO, OLE DB or ODBC and provides the best possible access speeds. RemObjects AnyDAC can be used as a stand-alone product for single and client-server database applications, but it will unfold its true power when used in combination with Data Abstract. In the past, Data Abstract for Delphi relied on third party drivers or generic layers such as ADO and DBX for the back-end data access. AnyDAC closes this gap by providing an in-house solution for high-speed native data access at the back end, and deep integration of AnyDAC with Data Abstract 5.0.27 and later allows the two products to combine to the perfect data access solution for Delphi developers.

• Oracle 8.0.3 and higher
• IBM DB2 8 and higher
• MySQL 3.23 and higher
• Microsoft Access 2000 and higher
• Sybase ASA 8 and higher
• InterBase 6 and higher
• Firebird 1.5 and higher
• "Natively" means that AnyDAC communicates with the back-end database through the fastest, stable and vendor-recommended API available. AnyDAC has been tested and optimized for each of these RDBMS's.

AnyDAC also supports generic data sources through:
