Single-User License.
Single User License では、ソフトウェアプログラムの単一コピーを、1台のコンピューター上で1人だけがインストールして使用できます。アプリケーションがインストールされるコンピューターのいずれかで他のユーザーもアプリケーションを使用する場合は、追加の Single User License または Network License を、アプリケーションの使用を予定している各ユーザーごとに取得する必要があります。
Server - Concurrent License.
Concurrent license は、同時にプログラムへアクセスするユーザー数に基づくサーバーライセンスです。通常は、ネットワーク経由でユーザーが接続するサーバー上で動作するソフトウェアを対象とします。たとえば、5ユーザーの concurrent user license では、5人のユーザーがプログラムにログオンした後、6人目のユーザーは利用できません。最初の5人のうち誰か1人がログオフすると、次の人がログオンできます。Concurrent licensing は、通常 Citrix XenApp を実行する独立したソフトウェア計測ツールによって管理できます。
