Indigo.Design App Builder

• Grid Component - The latest release includes 10+ new grid component features including sorting, filtering, cell/row editing, selection, groupby and more.
• Added Snackbar to the Component Toolbox - This component provides information about an operation with a single-line message, which can include an action. The Snackbar message appears above all other elements and is positioned at the bottom center of the screen.
• Onboarding Experience Improvements:
  • Quick tips - The quick-tips feature aims to gradually educate users about the concepts and accelerators available. The quick-tips are triggered when the user completes a certain action in App Builder, like resizing a component or adding a new child view.
• GitHub - App Builder now automatically handles build and test setup - GitHub Publish now adds a workflow that does a clean install of node dependencies, caches/restores them, builds the source code and runs tests across different versions of the node. So, once you are ready with the application, simply select "Publish to GitHub" button, then name your repository and upload the project. When the upload process is completed, you can go and check all your files and build workflow on GitHub.
• Improvements:
  • "Generate app" button is now "Publish to GitHub".
  • "Create new app" dialog now comes in two sizes. One for larger displays and one for smaller displays. New section to get assets for Sketch or Adobe XD.
  • All sample apps have been updated with meaningful thumbnails representing actual screenshots and with a brief text description of the app upon hover.
  • Improved loading of theming when uploading Sketch file for app generation.
  • Improved load times for apps and general performance tweaks when using App Builder.

• Fixed errors with data repeated elements.
• Data source list population fix for bindable elements.

• GitHub Integration - This feature allows engineers to directly upload their app to a GitHub repo, private or public.
• Slider Component - Lets designers build user-pleasing UX flows for more complex scenarios. The Slider component, delivered by the Ignite UI for Angular library, comes with various properties, such as options for having one or two thumbs (in case you need a slide range), setting the slider as stepped or continuous and more.
• Banner - Added a simple but powerful Material Design component for showing and hiding information upon user’s request.
• New Sample Apps - The new Travel and E-commerce applications reveal UX scenarios and certain usage of components that can be quickly reused.
• Korean Translation - You can now find the entire Indigo.Design platform and its App Builder module translated into Korean.
• When previewing an app, you can now switch between "master" and "child views", using a dropdown in the toolbar, so you can preview the code for each view separately.
• Added the ability to reorder components in the document outline or design surface using drag and drop.
• Added the ability to reorder “master” and “child views” in the views tab of the toolbox using drag and drop.
• Improved “Tab Layout” to allow custom content inside “Tab header”.
• Improved icons for "align-content" dropdown when wrapping is enabled in Flex layouts.
• Apps are now generated using Ignite UI for Angular v12.0.1 instead of v11.1.15.
• Improved load times and performance tweaks when using the App Builder UI.
