• New Features
  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Filtering is now supported in the Viewer.
    • The Viewer Control detectPii method now supports passing in options to specify which PII types to return and highlight. A different highlight color is now used to highlight different PII types.
    • The Viewer PII detection user interface now includes a PII filter panel that shows the count of each PII type found in the document. In the PII filter panel, you can redact all PII entities and specify a redaction reason. You can also select which PII types to redact or include in the PII entities list.
  • Windows Server 2025 Support. PrizmDoc Server and PAS can run on Microsoft Windows Server 2025 platform.
• Improvements
  • Enhanced the accessibility of the Viewer's top-level interface by adding field and tab panel labels, improving form control and text contrast, streamlining tab navigation, and including a shortcut to skip to the Viewer content.
  • When retrieving PAS version information using the /info API end point, the response now includes the field clientInstallerVersion, which is the version of the installer used to install PrizmDoc Client.

DEPRECATION NOTICE: Support for Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019 was deprecated with PrizmDoc Viewer v14.6 and will be completely removed in a future release. Future releases will no longer support Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019. It's recommended to upgrade to a supported version of Windows Server, such as Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025.

• Product Updates and Fixes
  • The Legacy Samples and Client Viewer have been removed from the Windows installer. Please use the latest Sample Applications, which contain the latest version of the Client Viewer.
  • Increased keep-alive timeouts in PAS, PrizmDoc Load Balancer (PLB) and the Nginx Manager Service to avoid unexpected connection resets causing 502 Bad Gateway errors.
• Security Updates
  • Addressed potential vulnerabilities in the nginx component by upgrading to the newer nginx v1.28.0.
  • Addressed several potential vulnerabilities in a component of the Raster Conversion Service by updating it to the most recent version.
  • Updated PrizmDoc Services, PrizmDoc Application Services (PAS), and the accusoft/prizmdoc-viewer-eval container image to run on the newer Node.js v22.18.0, taking advantage of recent security fixes and other changes in Node.js.
  • Addressed vulnerabilities in the deprecated AI Service by removing the service. In PrizmDoc v14.4, the PAS watsonx AI REST API was updated to use the AI Hub instead of the AI Service. See the AI Features and PrizmDoc Worker API documentation for more information.
  • Updated brace-expansion included in the latest product to version 1.1.12, taking advantage of recent security fixes.
• Documentation Updates
  • Updated the System Requirements and Licensing topics to clarify the requirement to purchase and install a Microsoft Office Server license in order to use PrizmDoc's Microsoft Office Conversion Service.
  • Updated the documentation to clarify viewing documents over 10,000 pages.
