Master Packager is an application packaging tool for creating and modifying Microsoft Windows Installer files such as MSI and MST, as well as for repackaging other installations to MSI format. With this tool, it is possible to fully automate repackaging which will increase quality and reduce human errors as capturing, building and applying templates can be fully automated.

The Master Packager 25.2.9187 update introduces Microsoft Intune default value settings, allowing software developers to streamline the application packaging process by pre-configuring essential fields such as Developer, Owner, Install, and Uninstall command lines. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments after uploading to Intune, ensuring consistency, reducing deployment time, and minimizing the risk of errors. By automating these default configurations, the update enhances efficiency and simplifies the workflow, enabling developers to focus on delivering reliable software deployments without unnecessary administrative overhead.
