  • Connection to Jira - The driver enables various ODBC-aware applications to connect to Jira directly via HTTPS. If you have no direct access to Jira via HTTPS, you have the option of establishing a connection through a proxy server.
  • Extended SQL Syntax - The ODBC driver lets you work with Jira objects just like SQL tables. The extended SQL syntax allows you to use all the benefits of SQL-92 compatible SELECT statements:
    • Complex JOINs.
    • WHERE conditions.
    • Subqueries.
    • GROUP statements.
    • Aggregation functions.
    • ORDER statements.
  • Platforms Variety - The driver can be used with 32-bit and 64-bit applications on both platforms, so there is no need to additionally configure the driver, applications or environment.
  • Fully Unicode Driver - You can retrieve and modify any data in multilingual Jira databases, regardless of their character set: Latin, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Chinese, etc., and in any language environment.
  • ODBC Conformance - ODBC driver for Jira provides full support for common ODBC interfaces:
    • ODBC API Functions support.
    • ODBC Data Types support.
    • In addition, it provides support for Advanced Connection String parameters. Thus allowing any desktop and web applications to connect to Jira from various environments and platforms that support ODBC.
  • DML Operations - Devart ODBC Driver for Jira provides support for DML which allows you to modify data in Jira the same way as in SQL databases:
    • INSERT.
    • UPDATE.
    • DELETE.
