  • Production-ready controls - The following .NET MAUI controls have been developed to meet industry standards and are now marked as production-ready:
    • Accordion.
    • Chips.
    • Expander.
    • Numeric Entry.
    • PDF Viewer.
  • Button (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Button is a custom button control. Its built-in features include UI customization, support for icons, predefined styles, rounded corners, and visual state customization using the visual state manager.
  • Checkbox (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Checkbox is a selection control that allows users to select one or more options from a set. The three states of checkbox are checked, unchecked, and indeterminate.
  • Date Picker (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Date Picker is a selection control that allows users to select a date from a list of dates. This control can be opened as a dialog. Its rich feature set includes functionalities such as date ranges, date formats, headers, and footers.
  • Date Time Picker (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Date Time Picker is a customizable selection control that allows users to pick a date and time from a list of date-time values. It can be opened as a dialog. Its rich feature set includes functionalities such as data binding, multiple columns, headers, footers, and custom views in headers and footers.
  • Picker (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Picker is a customizable selection control that allows users to pick an item from a list. It can be opened as a dialog. Its rich feature set includes functionalities such as data binding, multiple columns, headers, footers, and custom views in headers and footers.
  • Radio Button (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Radio Button is a selection control that allows users to select one option from a set. The two states of radio button are checked and unchecked.
  • Segmented Control (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Segmented Control consists of multiple segments, where each segment functions as a separate button that can display text, an image, or both. Users can effortlessly select any segment item.
  • Time Picker (New)
    • The .NET MAUI Time Picker is a selection control that allows users to pick a time. This control can be opened as dialog. Its rich feature set includes functionalities such as time format, header, and footer.
  • TreeView (New)
    • The .NET MAUI TreeView is a data-oriented control that displays data in a hierarchical structure. It provides a user-friendly way to interact with complex data structures and navigate through different levels of information by allowing users to expand and collapse nodes to reveal or hide underlying information.
  • Calendar
    • Calendar multi-range selection - The .NET MAUI Calendar now supports selecting more than one range of cells in the calendar by using the selected date ranges property.
  • Cartesian Charts
    • Zooming selection - Users can now zoom in on specific rectangular sections of the chart for a more detailed view.
    • Directional zoom - Users can now zoom in on the horizontal or vertical axis separately. This helps them better analyze data trends along specific dimensions.
    • Programmatic tooltip display and hide - Users can now programmatically display or hide tooltips at a specific location.
    • Exposed chart interaction override methods - Interactive behavior now offers the flexibility to customize the chart based on user interaction. It responds to touch interactions (OnTouchDown, OnTouchUp, and OnTouchMove), allowing users to obtain chart touch point coordinates and meet specific requirements.
    • Conversion methods: Value to Point & Point to Value - The Cartesian chart now offers the ability to obtain chart coordinates based on provided screen points and vice versa.
  • Circular Charts
    • Exposed chart interaction override methods - Interactive behavior now offers the flexibility to customize the chart based on user interaction. It responds to touch interactions (OnTouchDown, OnTouchUp, and OnTouchMove), allowing users to obtain chart touch point coordinates and meet specific requirements.
  • DataForm
    • Numeric up-down editor - The .NET MAUI DataForm now supports a built-in numeric up-down editor, allowing users to change the value in the editor using the Up arrow, Down arrow, Page up, and Page down keys, as well as the up-down button.
    • Editor heights - The .NET MAUI DataForm now allows you to modify the height of each editor to fit the height of the data form or to customize the height based on text size.
  • Microsoft Excel Library
    • What-If Analysis with Scenario Manager - The Excel (XlsIO) library now supports the scenario manager in what-if analysis. This allows you to create scenarios with different sets of values for specific cells in the worksheet, and then apply those scenarios to see how the results change. Users can do the following using the scenario manager:
      • Create scenarios with different sets of values and apply them to view the forecast results.
      • Protect or hide the scenarios to prevent users from changing them.
    • Threaded comments - The Excel (XlsIO) library now supports threaded comments, allowing multiple users to add comments or reply to the existing comments in an Excel document.
    • Excel to PDF enhancements - The following enhancements have been made in the Excel to PDF conversion.
      • Gradient fill support in the data bar type conditional formatting.
      • Support for converting threaded comments.
    • Excel to image enhancement - The Excel (XlsIO) library now supports auto shapes during the Excel to image conversion. All the supported shapes in XlsIO will be preserved in the converted image.
  • Funnel Chart
    • Exposed chart interaction override methods - Interactive behavior now offers the flexibility to customize the chart based on user interaction. It responds to touch interactions (OnTouchDown, OnTouchUp, and OnTouchMove), allowing users to obtain chart touch point coordinates and meet specific requirements.
  • Image Editor (Preview)
    • Toolbar customization - Added support for customizing the built-in toolbar and adding custom toolbars.
    • Browse for image - Added a browse feature that allows users to easily select images to edit.
    • Save-folder picker - Users can now select a save location for edited images.
    • BMP files - Added support for loading, editing, and saving BMP images.
    • Localization - Added support for translating the toolbar text into different languages for specific cultures.
  • PDF Library
    • Digital signature enhancement - The following enhancements have been made to the digital signature functionality of the PDF Library:
      • An API to get the OCSP/CRL details from the embedded timestamp.
      • Extract images from the digital signature in the PDF document.
    • Text-only redaction - Users can now selectively redact text within a PDF document. This means that graphics or images beneath the text will remain unaffected by redaction.
    • Remove document information - Users now have the option to effortlessly eliminate document details like title, author, subject, keywords, and other metadata information.
  • PDF Viewer
    • Text markup annotations - Users can now add, remove, and modify the following text markup annotations in PDF files:
      • Highlighting: To mark important passages or sections within a document.
      • Underlining: To emphasize specific words or phrases that need further consideration or discussion.
      • Strikeout: To indicate that certain content should be removed or is no longer relevant.
      • Squiggling: To indicate that the text contains potential errors, typos, or grammatical issues.
    • Shape annotations - Users can now add, remove, and modify the following shape annotations in PDF files:
      • Rectangle or square: To highlight important paragraphs, images, or a block of text, making it easier to follow while reading.
      • Circle: To point out certain areas of interest and provide explanatory notes or comments.
      • Arrow: To point out specific sections, images, or text within a document, indicating that attention should be focused there. It can also be used to provide directional guidance.
      • Line: To underline text or phrases in an image and to divide different sections or paragraphs.
    • Ink or freehand drawing annotations - Users can now add, remove, and modify ink or freehand drawing annotations in PDF files. Make quick notes on a specific text or passages, add marks or drawings to images, and add handwritten signatures.
    • Ink and freehand drawing eraser - Users can now remove or erase portions of the ink or freehand drawing annotations. They can correct a mistake or remove unwanted marks.
    • Stamp annotations - Users can now add, remove, and modify stamp annotations in PDF files. Stamps are predefined graphical text that can be used to mark or signify certain aspects of documents, like that they have undergone quality checks or audits. This feature also allows adding personalized images or text to PDF documents.
    • Sticky note annotations - Users can now add, remove, and modify sticky note annotations in PDF files. Add comments or notes to specific parts of a document to clarify complex concepts, terms, or ideas.
  • Popup
    • Animation - The following animations have been added for opening and closing the pop-up window on the screen:
      • Zoom.
      • Fade.
      • Slide on left.
      • Slide on right.
      • Slide on top.
      • Slide on bottom.
      • None.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint Library
    • Convert PowerPoint animations to images - The .NET PowerPoint library now allows you to convert PowerPoint slides into images based on the sequence of entrance animations applied to each element in the slide. With this, you can showcase the converted images as a slideshow in your custom PowerPoint Viewer.
  • Pyramid Chart
    • Exposed chart interaction override methods - Interactive behavior now offers the flexibility to customize the chart based on user interaction. It responds to touch interactions (OnTouchDown, OnTouchUp, and OnTouchMove), allowing users to obtain chart touch point coordinates and meet specific requirements.
  • Scheduler
    • Appointment text color - Added support for changing the text color of each appointment.
  • Microsoft Word Library
    • Compare Word documents - The Syncfusion .NET Word Library now allows you to compare two DOCX-format documents and highlight the changes, such as insertions, deletions, and formatting, as tracked changes. With this feature, you can easily identify the changes between two versions of a document.
