• The ActiveState Platform is regularly updated with new, patched and versioned packages and languages.
  • Added the latest versions of the following:
    • OpenSSL (for all languages) v1.1.1w, 3.0.11 and 3.1.3.
    • setuptools-scm v8.0.1 (for Python).
    • mariadb v1.1.5 and 1.1.7 (for Python).
    • pygame v.2.4.0 & 2.5.2 (for Python).
    • numpy v1.25.2 (for Python).
    • Cython 3.0.0 and 3.0.2 (for Python) - Now builds for Python.
    • Python 3.7.17.2 (for Python) - Resolves a number of CVEs.
  • Prebuilt binaries for some packages are now imported to guarantee you can add them successfully to your build. The current list for Python includes:
    • Pydantic v2.2.0.
    • Pydantic-core v2.6.0.
    • astokens v2.0.5.
    • Colander (all versions).
    • Safetensors v0.3.2.
    • opencv-python & opencv-python-headless.
    • onnx & onnxruntime.
