• Added support for JSON Examples field
  • ER/Studio Data Architect 20.7 includes improvements for the JSON Instance database platform by now supporting "examples," which is a list of example values accepted by a field. When creating or editing a table, MongoDB and JSON Instance users may note a JSON tab which displays the JSON schema or JSON Instance. For JSON Instance, each field contains the default value, or first examples value, or first reference value, in that order of preference.
  • When using the DDL Generation Wizard to generate JSON code to build a MongoDB database, note the actions of the following options:
    • For JSON Instance, each field contains the default value, or first examples value, or first reference value, in that order of preference.
    • For JSON Schema, the default value, and all examples and reference values are included.
