• PDF Library
  • The Syncfusion Microsoft .NET PDF Library now supports the creation of PDF/A-4 documents and the conversion of existing PDF documents to PDF/A-4.
  • RichMedia annotation - RichMedia annotations can now be used to embed videos and sound files in PDF documents.
  • Watermark annotation - The .NET PDF Library now supports watermark annotations which are used to show text, images and shapes with a fixed size and position. It supports the following features:
    • Text, images and graphical shapes.
    • Rotation to 0, 90, 180 and 270 degree angles.
    • Customization as a print-only watermark (annotation disappears in view mode).
    • Existing watermark annotations can be edited or removed.
• PDF Viewer
  • Polyline annotation  Add, remove or modify polyline annotations via the user interface or programmatically.
  • Squiggly annotation - Add, remove or modify squiggly annotations via the user interface or programmatically.
• Rich Text Editor
  • Strikethrough text formatting - This feature allows users to apply or remove strikethrough formatting.
• Backdrop Page
  • ImageSource support for open and close icons - Use ImageSource support to load open and close icon images from files or the web.
• Text Input Layout
  • Visibility support for leading and trailing views - This feature allows users to dynamically change the visibility of leading and trailing views.
• Microsoft Word Library
  • Word-to-image conversion - The Syncfusion .NET Word (DocIO) Library is now capable of converting a Word document to images on Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple macOS.
  • Word-to-PDF conversion enhancements - The Syncfusion Word Library includes the following enhancements for converting any Word document to a PDF file:
    • DotDotDashHeavy, DottedHeavy, and Thick underline styles now render as they are in the input Word document.
    • PDF documents now render properly for landscape pages when mirror margins are applied.
