機能

  • Create Response Transforms - New wizard added to MSI Generator that enables you to create response transforms. With this helpful wizard, you can capture all the changes you have made to the Windows Installer dialogs.
  • Enhanced performance - MSI building runs several times faster than before due to the upgrades made to PACE Suite algorithms.
  • Support of App-V for Windows 10 - The new App-V client has been included in Windows 10 Enterprise since 1607 build. PACE Suite 4.2 supports this latest development from Microsoft.
  • Permission Settings Management - MSI Editor now enables you to add new or modify existing permission settings of resources in your packages.
  • New Start Screen - Redesigned the Start Screen of MSI generator. Now you can access different functions by invoking Packaging and Testing scenarios.

  • Known Issues and Limitations
    • MSI Editor: Undoing a large number of actions at once can cause unwanted results. Please apply UNDO in a sequence.
    • MSI Editor: Opening big Windows Installer packages (500MB in size and more or 50K rows in a table) may take long time.
