Updates in this release
Updates in v3.2
Users can now submit pages in any rotation (0, 90, 180, 270 degrees) and still get correct results. Available orientation options include:
- Detect orientation. Reads the characters in the detected orientation, but leaves provided coordinates of characters on the original image. The PDF output will be of the original image (still rotated).
- Detect and adjust orientation. If an image is rotated 90 degrees clockwise when submitted, OCR Xpress will first rotate the image 90 degrees counterclockwise, then perform OCR and produce the output based on the corrected image.
- Assume the image is correctly oriented and try to read the text with an upright orientation. Rotated text will fail to read. Correctly oriented pages will read slightly faster when using this mode.
