JavaScript - New online IDE-like environment that quickly creates JavaScript samples, and Bootstrap dimension support for all JavaScript controls.

• JavaScript Playground - A new online IDE for creating and sharing JavaScript samples.
• Backstage for Ribbon Control - A UI containing items on the right that correspond to tabs and buttons on the left.
• Trend Lines for Charts - Support for linear, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, and power trend lines.

ASP.NET - With the addition of embedded resource support, you no longer need to refer to dependent resources manually, and with new support for Bootstrap dimensions, all ASP.NET components are visually integrated and share similar dimensions.

• New File Explorer - UI for browsing, selecting, uploading, and managing folders and files.
• New NavigationDrawer Control - Open this new control from any screen edge to display content of any type.
• New Radial Menu - A contextual menu that presents items in a circular order.

ASP.NET MVC - Bootstrap dimension support, allowing components to have similar dimensions and to be visually integrated. This suite also adds numerous features to the PivotGrid control as well as exporting capabilities for the OlapChart and OlapClient controls.

• Backstage Page for Ribbons - A rich, customizable user interface similar to the Office 2013 backstage.
• Pulling to Refresh List Views - Refresh a page without any additional UX elements.
• Creating Charts in Word 2007-2013 - Create and modify charts in Word documents using DocIO.

WPF - Essential Studio for WPF makes a number of additions to its File Format libraries and its Report Designer, which allows gauges, charts, and indicators to be customized through contextual ribbon tabs. Searching for text in the PDF Viewer is also greatly improved.

• Unbound Rows in DataGrid Control - Add rows that are not bound to data to the top and bottom of a grid.
• More Chart Palettes - 12 color palettes have been added, including metro and chrome versions.
• Creating Charts in Word 2007-2013 - Create and modify charts in Word documents using DocIO.

WinRT - Volume 2 updates the WinRT Diagram control with a number of new features and adds unbound rows to the DataGrid control, and color palettes and trackballs to the Chart control.

• Unbound Rows in DataGrid Control - Add rows not bound to data to the top and bottom of a grid.
• More Chart Palettes - 12 additional color palettes, including metro and chrome versions.
• Diagram Drawing Tool - Draw a node by simply dragging it onto the page.

Windows Phone - Essential Studio for Windows Phone adds a new NavigationDrawer control and brings significant enhancements to its existing Chart and TexBoxExt controls.

Xamarin.Forms - The Xamarin.Forms suite introduces three new controls, including a DataGrid control with all the features you expect, such as support for responsively touch-scrolling thousands of records. The updated Chart control adds trackballs, strip lines, and new series types.

• New AutoComplete Control - A text box providing suggestions based on user input.
• New NumericTextbox Control - Allows you to restrict text box input to integer values.

Xamarin.iOS - With four new controls, and a multitude of features added to the existing Chart control, Essential Studio for Xamarin.iOS continues to grow, allowing you to easily build mobile applications for iOS.

• Text Selection in PDF Viewer - Users can select text and copy it to the Clipboard.
