Previous Versions

Buying a new license entitles you to use previous versions of the same product. Requests for older versions can be sent directly to MESCIUS (formerly GrapeCity)'s technical support team. Request a Previous Version

ComponentOne WinUI and MAUI Edition（英語版） のライセンス

One software license is required per-developer. A developer may install their license on up to three machines.

Developer Licenses are perpetual and include 1 year Subscription which provides 1 year of free upgrades, including bug fixes and new features.

After your subscription expires, you can renew to receive another year of updates. If you choose not to renew, you can continue using the last version you are eligible to use.

Runtime Royalty Free
A license entitles you to build applications using the components. The applications you build can be distributed royalty-free.

GrapeCity support services are offered in Standard (free with subscription) and Platinum (paid for) levels .

*For customers with a current Platinum subscription, GrapeCity provide a response to any issue submitted to them within 24 hours (excluding weekends and observed US holidays).

FAQs

Is the license permanent (perpetual) or temporal (time-limited)?

All ComponentOne / Wijmo licenses are permanent. A license entitles you to one year of free upgrades, including bug fixes and new features. You can continue to use the purchased product after your subscription period ends.

What happens after my subscription expires?

After one year, you are no longer entitled to updates, but you may continue to use the products received with your subscription after your subscription has expired.

Can I co-term (align) my existing licenses?

Yes - ComponentSource can arrange to co-term your licenses, even if they were not originally purchased through us. Please call us or to discuss your needs.

Can I upgrade my license?

Upgrades are available from any previous version of the same product (e.g. from any version of ComponentOne WinUI and MAUI Edition（英語版） to the latest version of ComponentOne WinUI and MAUI Edition（英語版）).

Can I buy an old product version?

Please contact us to request an older version.

Is Source Code available?

Yes - source code is available upon request. Please contact us for more information.

Can I install my license on more than one machine?

Licenses are per-developer. A developer may install their license on up to three machines.

Can a license be transferred from one developer to another?

Licenses may be transferred from one developer to another or from one server to another. In this case, the original copy must be completely removed from the original developer's machine (or from the original server).

What type of support do I get?

Standard Support is included with all subscriptions. It includes:

  • Access to hotfix builds
  • Forums
  • Online support
  • The option to email your project for analysis

Platinum Support includes all entitlements of Standard Support, plus:

  • 24 Hour FastTrack Response (excluding weekends and observed US holidays)
  • Phone Support
