Updates in 6.2/6.2.1

​New:

• Layer2 Data Provider for SOAP Web Services (BETA) included in provider package.
• After installation the SharePoint Timer Service is restarted automatically to avoid issues with old (cached) DLLs.

Fixes:

• Time Zone Settings are now managed correctly while syncing Date/Time values. Now the Regional Settings in SharePoint are correctly applied.
• The BDLC Update On-Demand Button (Ribbon Feature) can now activated / deactivated as a Site Collection Feature, if required. By default it is activated.
• Performance wins while displaying the BDLC Update On-demand button in ribbon.
• Threads are removed in BDLC Writeback Events (BDLC 2013) because of issues with VB.NET: Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequestInternalClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.ISPRequest'. Now fixed.
• Event receivers are now correctly removed while deleting a BDLC connection directly in the BDLC Settings Dialog.
• Invalid or corrupted site collections caused the BDLC Timer Service to crash with the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Now skipped (ignored).
• "Impersonation failed" while updating lists bug raised with 6.2.0.0 is fixed now.

Changes:

• The validation of the connection settings on save was removed to allow save of incomplete settings or settings that do not validate in dialog mode (but possibly for background update).
• The input field "Select Statement" is now deactivated for RSS, CSOM and SharePoint List Provider because no data query is supported for these providers.
