The memory defines how many storage disks can be attached & how many data containers can be hosted in parallel.

Please see system requirements sections of the database engines documentation to understand how many RAM each database engine uses.

OS Disk 80GB 128GB WARNING: The partition table should be labelled as GPT (GUID Partition Table) and not MBR (Master Boot Record)
Additional empty disks 1 x 1TB see notes These disks are used to store data images and data containers (clones). Plan ahead to have enough space for your needs. See warning above.
WARNING: You can add more disks after the initial installation but you won't be able to remove them once they start being used. Please check adding disks for more information.


Network & Firewall
Redgate Clone does not support changing the IP address of the VM once it has been installed. For this reason, Redgate Clone requires a static IP address. If your network uses a DHCP server to assign IP addresses, you should add a reservation so that your nodes' IP addresses do not change.

The following ports should be available on the host.

8800 Admin Console
8132 Web API used by the CLI
30900, 30902 and 30903 Monitoring
32767-60000 (by default)

Range of ports to randomly select from for new data containers.
Can be changed in Admin Console during the set up.
