Altova MapForce Server（英語版+日本語版） のライセンス

Altovaのサーバー製品は年間、サーバー毎にマシン上のコアが何個あるかによってライセンスされます。それぞれのサーバー用に別個のライセンスキーコードを取得する必要があります。コアライセンスの数はサーバー上のコア数、あるいは実際のマシン及びバーチャルマシンの台数と同数かそれ以上である必要があります。

例えば、もし8コアのサーバーをお持ちの場合、少なくとも8コアライセンスを購入する必要があります。もし、多数のCPUコアがありながらデータの処理数が少ししかないサーバーを利用している場合、少ないコアに割り当てられたバーチャルマシンを作成し、その数のライセンスを購入することで対応できます。このようなデプロイメントでは、当然ながら実際のサーバー上のコア数で対応可能な処理能力より劣る可能性があります。

割当てられているコアについては、Altovaサーバー製品はハイパースレッドコアを2つの個別のコアとしては取扱いません。実際のマシン上のコア数、あるいはVM上の仮想コア数のみをカウントします。
