MindFusion.Mapping for WinForms can load, customize and display any type of regional, national or world map. Map data can be loaded from ESRI shapefiles and it includes data for any country in the world as well for selected cities, rivers, roads and other geographic objects. Data for the attributes of map elements can be loaded from a DBF file associated with each map. It's also possible to load OpenStreetMap XML files to display city and road maps. The control supports multiple layers so you can show several maps in a single view.

MindFusion.Mapping for WinForms Features

  • Decorations - Place images or text at precise locations.
  • Advanced Pan and Zoom - Use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out of the map. Click the left mouse button on any area of your map and pan it by dragging.
  • Layers - Each map can have an unlimited number of layers whose visibility can be turned on or off..
  • Rich Database - MindFusion.Mapping for WinForms includes a choice of royalty free files with administrative, geographical and political data, which you can use to mark cities, territories, roads, countries and oceans.
  • Street Maps - Use the integrated StreetMapLayer to enhance your WinForms software with street maps of your choice using OpenStreetMap.
