Developer License

A Developer License is required for each individual developer who will be using ActiveReports.NET to design, develop, and maintain applications. This type of license grants the developer access to all the features and functionalities of ActiveReports.NET, enabling them to create, modify, and test reports within their development environment. If multiple developers are working on the project, each developer must have their own separate Developer License. An active Developer License will allow the developer to build the project for deployment to end-users, with no additional deployment or end-user licenses necessary. If you are using build servers or pipelines for deployment, a Pipeline License is recommended in addition to the necessary number of Developer Licenses, which will be outlined below.

Pipeline License

The Pipeline License ensures that your ActiveReports.NET application can be built and deployed consistently and reliably in an automated manner. This license only functions at build-time, and does not work like a standard Developer License for design-time usage. The Pipeline License has reduced restrictions on things like machine limits and activation frequency limits to ensure a smooth automated build process in environments where builds may be run very frequently and from virtual machines that are technically a new machine on every build.
